Cassidy P.

Provisional Administrator

Cassidy serves as Oelwein's Provisional Administrator and brings a genuine passion for helping others, with a special place in her heart for serving older adults. Her career in long-term care began while attending college, when she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). That experience inspired her to change her major and pursue a career in nursing home administration.

Cassidy graduated from Upper Iowa University with a degree in Health Services Administration. She is driven by the opportunity to care for others, build meaningful relationships, and help create an environment where residents feel valued and supported.

Outside of work, Cassidy enjoys life on the farm, where she raises Boer goats. A former college basketball player, she also brings her love of teamwork and connection into both her personal and professional life.

Cindy E.

Director of Nursing

Cindy’s nursing journey began at St. Luke’s School of Practical Nursing in Cedar Rapids. She went on to spend a decade in long-term care and agency nursing before joining the Oelwein Care Center in 1988. After earning her RN from Northeast Iowa Community College, she assumed the role of Director of Nursing, a position she has held ever since. Her guiding motivation is simple yet powerful: to make residents as happy as possible each day, delivering care that brings comfort, dignity, and even a smile.

Cindy focuses on delivering high-quality, compassionate service and has helped her facility achieve an impressive 12 consecutive deficiency-free surveys. She was honored as part of the inaugural class of Iowa’s Top 100 Nurses, a recognition that reflects both her leadership and her commitment to excellence in resident care.
